We used to include all of this information in our proposals, which made them unnecessarily long and confusing. However, many of you still want to know about everything we’re doing behind the scenes to make your website the best it can possibly be.
So, what all comes with your brand new Tribeswell website?
Design, Layout & Content Management
- Design Process: At Tribeswell our goal is to create websites that help you not just stand out from your competitors, but truly make an impact with your visitors. We want your site to be an experience that people want to share. A big part of achieving this goal is conducting extensive research into what the design of the new website should be and what features and technology should be incorporated to provide the most impact with website visitors. As a Tribeswell client you are an integral part of this research process and we will use your input to ensure the final product exceeds your expectations.
- Responsive Layout: Tribeswell incorporates responsive design principles on every website we create. What this means is that your website will contain a flexible layout that will automatically adjust itself to fit perfectly on any size screen. From smart-phones to tablets, laptops to wide screen monitors; we will test and refine the layout of your website at every size to ensure your website looks amazing on any device at any resolution.
- Content Management: Our goal is to create a website that seamlessly fits into your marketing processes and is easy to maintain. We utilize the popular WordPress platform and add custom features and functionality to create what amounts to a custom Content Management System that will meet your exact needs.
- Form Building Tools: We utilize the popular Gravity Forms form integration plugin which allows you to easily create full-featured forms to gather information from your users. This can be as simple as creating contact forms or as complex as integrating form responses with CRM systems (like Salesforce) or Email Marketing tools (like MailChimp). Additionally, multiple custom e-mail notifications can be configured, and Tribeswell can set up text or page redirect confirmations to appear to the user as soon as the form is submitted. Gravity Forms also supports translation to different languages.
Content Creation
- Copywriting: Generally, Tribeswell takes responsibility for creating and editing at least some of the content on the website. You decide how much responsibility we have, and we will adjust the proposed price accordingly.
- Photography: Every Tribeswell website project comes standard with 2 hours of photography. This allows us to get any images that may be essential to the overall design of the website. Additional photography sessions may be added at $100 per hour. You will own the rights to all images that end up being used on your website. Existing photos may also be used.
Marketing Tools
- Search Engine Optimization: Tribeswell websites are inherently great for search engine optimization because of the amount of time we spend working on usability. We also install additional tools that make it easy to search optimize your website. Before launch, we will also perform basic SEO tasks such as writing page titles and descriptions for each page.
- Social Media Integration: The vast majority of “pre-developed” social sharing plugins are buggy, slow-loading, and generic looking. For this reason we will implement custom-designed social sharing for blog posts and brand pages that will give a much better experience to your users, encouraging them to share more often and promote the new site.
- Google Analytics: Our team will also install Google Analytics traffic monitoring tools, which provide comprehensive data about the number and behavior of visitors to your website.
Hosting, Backups & Domain Names
- Hosting: Tribeswell provides high-speed hosting to our clients. If you wish to use your own hosting we can work with most hosting providers. Installation on non-Tribeswell hosting requires a $100 per hour additional charge if you want us to install it, or we can provide a backup of the website for installation by your IT team.
- Backup to Dropbox: We install tools on each of our client websites that automatically create backups that are stored in a dedicated Dropbox.com cloud storage account. This ensures that you will always have a working copy of your website that we can revert back to in the event that something goes wrong in the future.
- Domain Names: As our client, you must provide sufficient access to domain name registrars so the Tribeswell team can launch the new website. Note: any additional time our team is required to spend assisting with domain name setup or transfers will be billed at $100 per hour.
Testing, Training & Warranties
- Browser Testing: Tribeswell shall conduct extensive testing of the new website prior to launch. The new website should perform perfectly in all current versions of Safari, Safari Mobile, Chrome, Chrome Mobile, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 9 & up. The website should also perform acceptably well (though possibly not perfectly) in older versions of all these browsers.
- Training: We strive to make every one of our client websites extremely easy to manage, which means it takes minimal training to learn how to make changes to the website. We will provide up to 2 hours of training at our office location OR by video conference.
- Warranty: Tribeswell warrants all website work for 30 days after the initial launch of the new site, providing it relates to the scope of the project as outlined within this proposal AND the website planning guide. The planning guide was started at our initial meeting and will need to be finished as a first step in the development process.
